Such a lovely boy... and yes it still hurts even 10-11 months later to be without him but his love for you and your love for him still live on and always will, for you have been claimed as his for ever.
I wasn't aware of Maxx until after he departed, but I must say I feel, from your lovely photos and tributes to his kindly spirit, that I know him. Which is a gift in itself.
Also he reminds me of my longago friend, Grey Feet, who was the most Victorian-ladyish of kittehs, dainty, sweet-natured and sensitive, and physically quite like Maxx. Did Maxx ever drool sentimentally when you petted him? That would be another point of similarity! :-)
What good persons they are and were. Thanks, 4Legs.

U are still my Best Friend.

Arthur, you are making me cry.
Arthur is a faithful friend, but a hard taskmaster to traveling gentlemen kittehs.
Maxx was looking down at the birthday party last night … surely he was pleased at how his niece has grown up.

Darling Maxx, still grievously missed. How beautiful a boy. Thanks, 4LG, from half a world away.

You're welcome.
I look at his sweet face and it makes me so sad. He was every bit as sweet as he looked.
Being a centaur = lovely kitty personages in your life.
You are lucky. In plush.
