Obviously his homework, gwpda. At least that looks like his particle accelerator, I believe. 4LG, Maxx has the best makeup of any kitty evah! Love the shading around his eyes and his big tufty toes.

You know -- you could prolly make a decent case for deducting the cost of Lion Kitty's upkeep as a charitable contribution to the world.

Daily Plush is just necessary anymore....

He is such a good buddy. He certainly keeps my head from exploding.

And yes, that's his particle accelerator. He is devoted to science.

Is Maxx into string theory yet? Could he use his particle accelerator to find us another dimension to move to? A universe with cats and dogs, but without greedhead Rethugs and the murder-loving bastards of all denominations.

I'd make it worth his while in tummy rubs and catnip scented baths.

Polly, he's trying to solve the unified field problem. When he does we'll be able to build a space ship and run away.

He looks like he's fixing the Golden Eye of Doom on some unlucky cricket, or something.

Please, Maxx, hurry up on the multidimensional gate.

Oh, darling Mr. Plushy, please help my sanity survive this wretched time!

Rolling Stone has a story about plans for a war with Iran. Harpers' has a story about Bush's plan to put ~40K troops in Lebanon. Where he's going to get that many people, plus the resources to start a fight with Iran, only Mr. Plushy knows. I think I'm heading towards terminal depression.

I've been saying since before Bush was re-elected, that he'd call a draft, simply because he could and nobody could stop him (being his 2nd term and all).

This sounds like a build up for a draft and World War III. (I know, scary sounding!)

Let's turn our faces to Mr. Plushy and find hope in his sweet and charming visage . . . and those TOES! SO adorable!
